First Robotics Competition of the Season

March 9th and 10th was the first robotics competition of the season for team 4469 at Auburn High School. Where we compete and interact with around 35 other robotics teams. Learning about the other teams' robot capabilities and functions. In addition to having various conversations and exchanges pins, goodie bags and other unique items. Meanwhile as different competition matches happen, on the stands, students are collecting data on various robots to see how they contribute to the matches. Whether this being the robots capabilities to pick up notes to score points, auto pilot mode, or climbing. This data will be used later to help choose alliance partners where we would team up with other teams of our choice in the semifinal if we qualify or were chosen. Where Thomas Jefferson high school robotics team 4469 R.A.I.D competed in the semifinal matches. In which we have outstanding performances overall in various matches. One match semifinal match 7 where we were able to score into the trap and were spotted by the human player who is a student from our team. In addition to this Kasey Byquist, a mentor on the team, was announced as a nominee for the district event Woodie Flowers award. In addition to this amazing start of the season, we have an upcoming robotics competition that is happening on March 16th and 17th. We as a team are looking forward to what is coming next.
